Bay Area Airstream is a factory authorized Airstream dealership located in Fairfield, CA. We are the largest and highest volume Airstream sales organization in the world. In fact, our dealer group sells 1 of every 4 Airstreams made! Due to increased volume we are looking for a new team member to join our sales team and represent the most iconic hand-built luxury travel trailers and class B motorhomes in the industry.  We are looking for a Sales Associate (Adventure Advisor) to specialize in selling our motorhomes (Interstates).  


The Sales Associate (Adventure Advisor) is responsible for presenting and selling products or services to the guest(s). The Sales Associate will contact potential buyers, present products and services, answer questions and discuss pricing. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with buying decisions
  • Help customers select the unit which best suits their needs and advise on towing requirements
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used units
  • Present and sell other value-added options
  • Write deals to present to sales manager
  • Maintain regular follow up with prospective and current clients
  • Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals
  • Learn all RV categories- tent trailer, fifth wheels, trailers, and luxury motorhomes

  • Ability to maintain a demanding schedule in a dynamic work environment

  • Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Respectfully takes direction from manager.
  • Enforce and practice policies to establish a culture of health and safety.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Previous experience in commission-based, "big ticket" item sales or customer service
  • RV, auto, marine, restaurant, hotel and insurance experience, a plus
  • Valid insurable Class C Driver's License.
  • Basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Aptitude for business math. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Expected Hours of Work: This is full-time position, and hours of work days are Tuesday through Saturday. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.
