Airstream Adventures NW is a factory authorized Airstream dealership located in San Martin, CA. We are the largest and highest volume Airstream sales organization in the world. In fact, our dealer group sells 1 of every 4 Airstreams made! We have a high level of sales inquiries because our product is THE preferred method of travel for the foreseeable future! Due to this greatly increased sales volume, we are looking for a new Team Member to join our sales team and represent the most iconic hand-built luxury travel trailers and class B motorhomes in the industry. This is a FANTASTIC opportunity, we offer a training wage while you are learning, full benefit package, one of the most generous PTO programs in the business and a VERY competitive wage that includes dealer incentive bonuses as well! 


The Sales Associate (Adventure Advisor) is responsible for presenting and selling products and services to the Guest(s). The Sales Associate will contact potential buyers, present products and services, answer questions and discuss pricing. They are also responsible for ensuring Guest satisfaction and manage the quality of product and service delivery.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities  

  • Assist Guests with buying decisions.
  • Help Guests select the unit which best suits their needs and advise on towing requirements.
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used units.
  • Present and sell other value-added options.
  • Write deals to present to Sales Manager for approval.
  • Maintain regular follow up with prospective and current Guests.
  • Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals.
  • Learn all RV categories- tent trailer, fifth wheels, trailers, and luxury motorhomes.
  • Prepare departmental reports and metrics.
  • May cross train to perform other duties.

  • Excellent analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain a demanding schedule in a dynamic work environment.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. 
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with Guests and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Respectfully takes direction from Manager.
  • Enforce and practice policies to establish a culture of health and safety.


Education and Experience Requirements  

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in commission-based, luxury item sales or Guest service preferred.
  • RV experience a plus.
  • Valid insurable Class C Driver's License.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members of organization.
  • Intermediate computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
  • Previous experience dealing with a variety of people in a customer service capacity.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outdoor weather conditions.
